📌 Appeals matter
Ireland's 70% refusal rate at first instance sounds stark, but 35% of final decisions were positive following appeal or review. The International Protection Appeals Tribunal (IPAT) overturns a significant proportion of IPO refusals. If refused at first instance, engaging a legal representative for the appeal is strongly advisable.
